The latest version of our flagship synth Refx Nexus has been released - 2.3. 2 The update includes some small stability fixes and a few additions. There is a new assignable control loop switch for external modulators, a new custom trigger mode for the modulation matrix, and a couple of other small tweaks that you can find below. The VST hosts have been updated with some minor changes to the interface. The default DAW on the Mac has been changed from Logic to Logic Pro X, so if you have installed an older version of Refx on your Mac please download the latest VST host from our download page.

The new value slider will allow you to increase or decrease the value by moving the slider either left or right, which gives you more options than with the knob. You can set it up in any Mod matrix slot to control any parameter you'd like. Please note that this slider does not give you any visual feedback (just like the mod knob), so if you want to know what the current modulation level is at any time, use another Mod slot that has a visible Continuous Control assigned to it. The visible Continuous Controls are: "Mix", "Pitch", "PianoGlide" and "Scale". --------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------
The new custom trigger mode will allow you to have more control over how the modulation is added to the target parameter. When set to trigger, the modulation will be added immediately at full intensity when you move the Modulation Wheel. So if you want a quick sweep, this might be a better option than slow intensity which adds modulation gradually based on how far you move it. If you want to use the Mod Wheel as a controller for another plugin or device, and would like it to always add modulation immediately at full intensity, set "Continuous Control > Sensitivity > Ignore position" on your other plugin/device as well as "Continuous Control > Trigger Mode (Mod Wheel)".
